Job Title: Lunch and Afternoon Float
Permanent/Part-time position

We currently have two job openings for this position. One is at our building at 9903 102 Street, and the other is at our 9820 110 Avenue location. Both are in Fort St. John, B.C.

Qualifications: Early Childhood Educator License to Practice OR previous experience working with
children.
Other Qualifications Required: A Criminal Record Check must be completed

Skills Required:

• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and written
• Ability to work independently and with others
• Ability to be flexible and move from program to program. This includes the potential to work in our infant and tot programs. Infants are 1-3, and tots are 3-5 years of age.
• Ability to prioritize

Job Description:

• Help prepare (heat up) lunches for Infant and Tot programs
• Implement self-care routines such as toileting, hand washing and tooth brushing
• Perform cleaning duties, such as sanitizing toys, sweeping and mopping floors
• Assist daycare staff in promoting the daily activities scheduled both indoors and outdoor
• Perform other related duties required based on the specific needs of the daycare
• program

Employment Terms: Monday to Friday from 11 am to 5:30 pm
Position Start Date: September 2024
Salary & Benefits: The starting wage is $18.50.
